Wall Street Uni is committed to providing a learning platform that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

We believe that everyone should have equal access to quality financial education and exam preparation resources.

WSU aims to conform to the following accessibility standards:

• Section 508: US federal accessibility standards
• EN 301 549: European accessibility standard
• ADA: Americans with Disabilities Act compliance

Screen reader compatibility

• Semantic HTML structure for proper content hierarchy
• ARIA labels and landmarks for navigation
• Alt text for all meaningful images and charts
• Descriptive link text and button labels
• Form labels and error messages

Keyboard navigation

• All interactive elements accessible via keyboard
• Logical tab order through content
• Visible focus indicators
• Skip to main content link
• Keyboard shortcuts for common actions

Visual design

• Sufficient color contrast ratios (WCAG AA compliant)
• Text resizable up to 200% without loss of functionality
• No reliance on color alone to convey information
• Clear, readable fonts and typography
• Consistent and predictable layout

Content accessibility

• Clear and simple language where possible
• Proper heading hierarchy (H1-H6)
• Descriptive page titles
• Text alternatives for charts and graphs
• Captions and transcripts for video content (when available)

Interactive elements

• Adequate click/touch target sizes (minimum 44x44 pixels)
• Clear error messages and validation
• Sufficient time limits with options to extend
• Pause, stop, or hide moving content
• No automatic audio or video playback

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist:

• Some third-party integrations may have accessibility limitations
• Complex mathematical formulas may require alternative text descriptions
• Some historical content may not meet current accessibility standards
• PDF documents may have varying levels of accessibility

WSU is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:

• Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack
• Speech recognition: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Windows Speech Recognition
• Screen magnifiers: ZoomText, MAGic, built-in OS magnifiers
• Alternative input devices: Switch controls, eye tracking, sip-and-puff systems
